Course Information

Fancourt is the ultimate destination for golf in South Africa. Positioned on 613 hectares in the magnificent Garden Route, 7km from George, Fancourt is South Africa’s premier lifestyle estate with mountains, indigenous forests and the warm Indian Ocean in close proximity.

Directions

From George Airport
1.Turn left onto the R404. At the stop street turn right onto the R102. Follow the road past the plant nurseries, donkey sanctuary and George showgrounds until you get to a roundabout.
2.At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto York St.
3.Travel straight upYork St through a number of sets of robots/traffic lights until you get to the traffic light at Langenhoven Rd (this is just after First National Bank, which is on your left).
4.Turn left into Langenhoven Rd and follow the road past Honda and De Bult school on the left (George Hospital is on the right) to another roundabout.
5.At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Langehoven St (the Outeniqua stadium and the George Golf Club are on the left).
6.Travel straight along Langenhoven Rd, at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Witfontein Rd (Engen is on the right and Virgin Active on the left).
7.Stay on Witfontein Rd, through the 3rd exit of the roundabout, over a stop and one set of traffic lights.
[NB: Over the bridge, the road name changes to George St.]
8.Follow George St to the top of the road, veering left onto Montagu Rd/R404.
9.Follow Montagu St to the gates of Fancourt (on the left).
